Drivers charged after separate rollover crashes in Barrie
Police charged two motorists in two separate rollover crashes that happened 12 hours apart in Barrie on Thursday.
According to police, the driver of an SUV entered the intersection at Bayfield and Grove Streets against a red light late Thursday morning and was struck by an oncoming vehicle, causing the SUV to roll onto its roof, hitting another car.

The 23-year-old SUV driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. He was later charged.
That night, police say a second collision happened when another SUV entered the Anne and Dunlop Streets intersection, again against the red light, and was hit by an oncoming vehicle, causing it to roll.
Paramedics took the 34-year-old SUV driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police charged him with careless driving.
Police urge motorists to drive with "due care and attention" and remind them to approach intersections cautiously.
