Police found a car had struck a guardrail and bounced through a ditch before driving away.
As police were responding to that call, a second report was received about a vehicle striking a hydro pole on South Mary Lake Road three kilometres away.
Emergency crews responded with police and a young woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police charged the 20-year-old Port Sydney woman with several impaired driving offences, as well as a fail to remain charge for the first collision.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge in December.
