Fire crews in Innisfil were called to a house fire on Big Bay Point this afternoon.
Numerous fire trucks were called in, and South Simcoe Police was directing traffic in the area in the waterfront neighbourhood.
It's the second house fire in Innisfil today. A fire this morning sent a woman to hospital with minor injuries.
Fire crews from Cookstown, Alcona, Lefroy, and Stroud were called to a house on the 7th Line of Innisfil just before 10 a.m. A fire had broken out at the rear of the building causing some minor smoke damage inside. Two people were home at the time and were able to escape safely.
There is still no word on what started the fire or how much damage it caused.
