Armed home invasion under investigation, 3 suspects at large

South Simcoe police are investigating a report of an armed home invasion in Bradford West Gwillimbury involving three suspects.

Police say the trio, believed to be males, forcibly entered the house in the Professor Day Drive and Line 8 area around 11 a.m. Tuesday and took off once they realized the occupants were home.

One suspect was armed with a knife, according to police, but no injuries were reported.

The police service says there is no active concern for public safety and remind residents to remain vigilant and immediately report suspicious activity or persons.

Anyone with information, including surveillance video of the area during the time of the alleged home invasion, is urged to contact the authorities at 705-436- 2141 ext.0.
