A three-vehicle collision in Oro-Medonte sent one driver to the hospital.

On Friday morning just before 8 a.m., Orillia police received a call involving a collision along Old Barrie Road and Line 15.

Police say all three vehicles were travelling in different directions when the crash occurred.

OPP closed one lane while they worked to clean up the road. The lane reopened shortly after.

Officials say the driver of one vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police charged one of the drivers involved in the collision with adult turn - not in safety under the Highway Traffic Act.
