Police say a woman was looking for a distracted driving ticket when she struck a vehicle just outside of Stayner.
The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 26 and County Road 7 on Tuesday, at around 8:30 a.m.
The woman told the OPP she had been looking for a distracted driving ticket prior to the collision. She had been issued that ticket 11 minutes earlier.
The 19-year-old woman from Clearview Township has been charged with careless driving.
The investigation is ongoing.
