Two charged with break-and-enter at empty Midland residence

Police received a call about a possible break-and-enter at an empty Fifth Street, Midland residence Saturday.

As the provincial police arrived at the home at around 6:30 p.m., two people exited the building.

Police arrested them for the break-and-enter and, further, found a substance believed to be fentanyl in their possession.

A 32-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with break-and-enter, and a 36-year-old Barrie woman was charged with break-and-enter, possession of an opioid and failing to meet parole conditions.
