Police are investigating a rash of break-ins at businesses in Gravenhurst.

Provincial police with the Bracebridge OPP detachment reported that three commercial and retail businesses were broken into over the weekend.

They say the crimes happened between 1868 and 2266 Highway 11 North, just south of Gravenhurst, at an establishment on Veterans Drive near Bethune Drive, and 1789 and 2011 Highway 11 South on Saturday and Sunday.

"During very early morning hours in each case, unknown suspect(s) smashed glass in order to gain entry and were successful in making off with several items," the police reported.

Officers are gathering evidence in each case and encourage anyone with information, including video footage of anything suspicious in the areas noted, to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
