Barrie police are investigating after they say two young girls were approached by a man in the city’s north end.
According to investigators, the girls, ages 11 and 12, were approached by a man at the Grove Street Plaza located at 477 Grove St. E. on Tuesday just before 4 p.m.
Police say the man approached the girls in a maroon minivan with tinted windows.
The man is described as a 20-year-old white male with a thin build, short blonde hair that was spiked to one side. He was last seen wearing a blue or grey tank top with sunglasses.
Police say a female passenger may have been with him.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
