As Music in the Park returned, live music was front and centre in Wasaga Beach on Tuesday evening.

Dozens of people attended the Oakview Woods Community Park music celebration each Tuesday in August.

This week's performance featured the New Orleans-inspired brass rock Turbo Street Funk Band, who performed on the Oakview wood gazebo stage.

"Play some funky stuff, a lot of rock and roll, it is great to be up here, it's great to play in a beautiful town for some beautiful people and see Ontario, see some nice folks and just have a good time," said Casey Van, lead singer of Turbo Street Funk.

The event is free to attend and visitors and residents can enjoy live music at a farmers' market earlier in the day.
