York Regional Police say a 42-year-old Etobicoke man died July 21 after crashing while parachuting.
Det. Sgt. Peter Heard says Igor Zaitsev was an advanced student at the Parachute School of Toronto in Baldwin near Georgina.
He was found without vital signs and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses say it was a hard landing.
