An arrest has been made in one of two groping incidents in Barrie.
Barrie police arrested a 38-year-old Barrie man and charged him with sexual assault and indecent act in a public place. He’s accused of sexually groping a woman in the Brown Trail and Fox Run area on Sept. 20.
A suspect in a second groping incident is still outstanding. In this case, police say a woman was stopped by a man who grabbed and groped her, while walking in the area of Toronto Street and Sophia Street on Sept. 20.
He’s described as a white 25-year-old man, about 145 pounds with a thin build, receding black hair and has a large forehead. He was last seen wearing a khaki green hoodie, camo cargo pants and running shoes.
