Wounded pedestrian struck by pickup flees the scene
A pedestrian struck by a truck failed to remain at the scene of a hit-and-run.
Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public's help locating a pedestrian they believe suffered serious injuries after being struck by a white Dodge pickup that also took off after the collision.
Police say the incident occurred Saturday at 3:20 a.m. in the Midland Avenue convenience store parking lot.
Investigators say they are hoping to locate the pedestrian as he is believed to have significant injuries and will likely need medical treatment.

The Southern Georgian Bay OPP Major Crime Unit has picked up the investigation and want to speak with Midland residents who may know of the pickup truck driver.
Anyone in the area during the incident who observed anything suspicious or has any information, dash cam or surveillance footage that may assist investigators is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
