York Regional Police say a 52-year-old woman has died from injuries she suffered in a motorcycle crash in East Gwillimbury on Sunday.
Police say the woman was a passenger on the motorcycle when it collided with a car on Leslie Street just north of Holborn Road at around 4:30 p.m.
Police say the female, who is from the Keswick area, was airlifted to hospital where she died Monday morning.
The man driving the motorcycle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a Toronto trauma centre by land ambulance.
Leslie Street was closed for several hours while police investigated.
