Essex County OPP seek suspect after vehicle and credit card thefts

Essex County OPP are asking for the public’s help after the theft of a vehicle and fraudulent transactions on a stolen credit card.

Sometime between Jan. 2, at 10:30 p.m. and Jan. 3, 2025, at 4 a.m. a white Acura sedan was taken from a driveway in the area of Amy Croft Drive and West Pike Creek Road in Lakeshore. It has since been recovered.

Police say a suspect was seen on security video using a stolen credit card taken from the vehicle. Investigators are attempting to identify the individual involved.

The OPP is asking anyone with relevant information to contact the Essex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
