Pedestrian receives life-threatening injuries in Twin Oaks Drive collision

Twin Oaks Drive is closed between Lauzon Parkway and Munich Court until further notice due to a collision.

Windsor police notified the public of the incident via Facebook, noting vehicles coming off Munich Court must go eastbound onto Anchor Drive to get out of the area.

CTV News has since received conformation from Windsor Police that a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck. The driver remained on scene for police.

Police say that the pedestrian is now in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and take alternative routes, the Traffic Reconstruction Unit has been called to the scene to investigate.
