Wind and wild weather wiped out power in Muskoka
Wind may have played a factor in the power outages in Muskoka.
As of Tuesday morning, Tiziana Baccega Rosa of Hydro One has confirmed that almost 1,200 customers are currently without power in the region.

Current outages include but are no limited to:
- Bracebridge – 3 outages affecting 94 customers
- Huntsville – 1 outage affecting 704 customers
- Minden – 2 outages affecting 277 customers
- Parry Sound – 3 outages affecting 120 customers
Baccega Rosa said most outages are pending as crews have not arrived on site, but information regarding expected duration can be accessed on Hydro One’s website.
