Weekend GO Transit Barrie Line closed for repairs
Barrie GO Train service will be suspended for critical track work on Saturday and Sunday.
During this time, GO buses will replace train service only between Highway 407 Bus Terminal and Allandale Waterfront GO station.

People travelling to Union Station are encouraged to use the TTC near Highway 407 Bus Terminal or Downsview Park GO.
- GO Bus Route 68 will serve Allandale Waterfront GO, Barrie South GO, Barrie Bus Terminal, and Highway 407 Bus Terminal.
- GO Bus Route 68G will serve Barrie Bus Terminal, Allandale Waterfront GO, Barrie South GO, Bradford GO, East Gwillimbury GO, Newmarket GO, Aurora GO, King City GO, Maple GO, Rutherford GO, and Highway 407 Bus Terminal.
- GO Bus route 65H will serve Wellington Street East at Highway 404 Park and Ride, Aurora GO, and Highway 407 Bus Terminal.
- GO Bus route 65G will serve Aurora GO, King City GO, Maple GO, Rutherford GO, and Highway 407 Bus Terminal.
- GO Bus route 65J will serve East Gwillimbury GO, Newmarket GO, King City GO, Maple GO, Rutherford GO, and Highway 407 Bus Terminal.
- GO Bus route 68H will serve Bradford GO, East Gwillimbury GO, Newmarket GO, Aurora GO, Wellington Street East at Highway 404 Park and Ride and Highway 407 Bus Terminal.
- GO Bus connection times will be adjusted, and wait times may be longer than usual. Customers are encouraged to check schedules before embarking on their routes.
Northbound and southbound rail trips will travel slower on the Barrie line on Monday and Tuesday due to this construction work. Some trip times will be adjusted - please check GO Transit for updated schedules before travelling.
Metrolinx is performing track work to widen the Barrie Line corridor and enable the future installation of a second track. Improvements on the Barrie line will transform GO rail from rush-hour service to a two-way, all-day rapid transit line.
In addition, there will be no GO Train service at King City GO on Monday due to critical rail and platform construction. For customers travelling to or from King City GO station, please connect with local transit at Aurora GO or Rutherford GO.
Regular service will resume on Wednesday.
