Two-vehicle crash causes lengthy closure along Highway 9 in Caledon

One person was taken to the hospital following a collision on Highway 9 in Caledon.

The two-vehicle crash happened Thursday afternoon.

Police closed the area from Kennedy Road to Heart Lake Road for the investigation and cleanup. It reopened shortly before 7 p.m.

According to police, the injuries sustained were minor.

There was no word on a cause or whether any charges would be laid.
