WEST GREY - Police say two people have died after a two-vehicle collision in central Ontario.

Provincial police say the crash took place shortly before 5:30 on Wednesday afternoon on Highway 6 in Grey County.

They say the driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger died shortly after being taken to a nearby hospital.

Police say the driver of the second vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The victims have been identified as 46-year-old Duayne Drinkle and 31-year-old Lydia Wilson, both of Owen Sound.

Police say they continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
