Town of Innisfil seeks public input on potential ward boundary changes
As one of the fastest-growing municipalities in Ontario, Innisfil town officials are investigating possible boundary changes and they want to hear from residents.
The Town hosted two information sessions to discuss potential boundary changes for its local wards as concerns have arisen that certain parts of Innisfil may have more residents than others.

The goal of this process is to ensure a fair balance of representation across all wards.
Mayor Lynn Dollin emphasized the importance of community involvement in the decision-making process during a public session on Thursday.
"We need to make sure that you come out, have a look, see where you live, see what your ward is, see what you think is fair," said Dollin. "Is your voice as strong as your neighbour's voice or someone from another part of the municipality? Do you feel that your voice is being heard by your Innisfil town council?"
With the next municipal election two years away, Dollin stressed that now is the time to address any boundary changes.
