Sentencing submissions continued on Friday in the murder case of a First Nations community leader.
Andrew Mixemong was killed in 2012 outside a deli in Midland.
A jury found Jessy Herlichka guilty of second-degree murder and his co-accused Paul McClung guilty of manslaughter.
Lawyers for the defence are now arguing about questions of parole and how much time the men should spend in jail.
The judge did not hand down a sentence on Friday, they will likely be given in the coming weeks.
