A search effort is underway in the Haliburton Highlands for two missing canoeists.
Provincial police say they were notified late Monday afternoon that two canoes had capsized on Eagle Lake. Some of the occupants were able to make it to shore, but two men did not.
Police say neither of the men were wearing a life-jackets.
The OPP emergency response team is now searching the area for the pair.
