York Regional Police need help from the public to identify a woman found in Vaughan more than a week ago.

On September 8, 2014 around 8:00 p.m. police found the woman by herself outside a plaza in the area of Highway 400 and Rutherford Road.

Police say she appeared to be confused and officers were concerned she was unable to care for herself.

She was taken to hospital where she still remains.

Investigators and hospital staff have been unable to identify her and have exhausted all leads.

She is described as:

  • 5’2”
  • 110 lbs
  • 18 to 22 years old
  • Thin build
  • Black curly hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Speaks English
