OPP say they have located a man involved in high speed chase with police through Oro-Medonte.
According to Bracebridge OPP, they located the driver of a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck that was involved in a chase along Highway 11 on Tuesday. It’s still unclear who was driving the vehicle, or if anyone was arrested.
OPP were looking to speak with the driver after a destructive house fire at 1101 Baldwin Rd. in Muskoka Lakes. The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m.; the police chase happened shortly after at 1:38 a.m.
Police say the vehicle is registered to Thomas Lustvee, 58, of Muskoka Lakes. The same name can be seen on the mailbox outside of the home that burned down.
Investigators say a cause has not been determined and add they will now analyze evidence they collected from the scene.
CTV Barrie has reached out to Bracebridge OPP for comment, but so far they have gone unreturned.
