Police are investigating two robberies in Gravenhurst that happened just days apart.
On Tuesday, around 10:40 p.m., police say a man attempted to rob a service centre on Highway 11 north, just south of Highway 118.
They say the suspect came behind the counter and demanded cash but ran off on foot empty-handed shortly after.
He was described as a white man, about five feet nine inches tall, wearing a grey hoodie, a white mask, a black bandana, and black pants.

Two days later, on Thursday at 11:35 p.m., police say another robbery occurred at a service centre on Highway 11 north, south of Gravenhurst.
They say the suspect demanded money, and while the employee didn't see a weapon, they believed he had one.
This time, the suspect left with some cash and may have been seen getting into a white pickup truck, heading north on Highway 11.
He was described as wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, white shoes, grey gloves, and a white face covering, carrying a black Coors Light cooler-style backpack.
Police say the recent robberies follow a series of break-ins that happened in Gravenhurst in late August and earlier this month.
Police are asking residents with security cameras along Highway 11 north, between North Kahshe Lake Road and Hastings Drive, and near Doe Lake Road, Gravenhurst Parkway, and Highway 118, to check their footage for any suspicious activity.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
