Police are investigating a report of a robbery after two suspects approached an individual waiting at a Barrie bus shelter Monday night.

Police say two males dressed in black hoodies and wearing face masks assaulted the individual at the shelter located at the corner of Livingstone Street East and Michael Crescent.

One of the suspects allegedly took the individual’s phone and threw the phone to the ground, causing damage, and then both fled the area heading north on Micheal Crescent.

Officers arrived and searched the area, but no arrests were made.

The individual sustained a minor injury.

Police believe one suspect could be a teenager, and ask anyone with information to contact the investigating officer via email.
