Police say they have arrested a man wanted in connection to a large drug bust in Innisfil.

According to South Simcoe Police, officers arrested the last outstanding suspect – a 41-year-old Innisfil man – on Friday. He faces several charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, cultivation and possession of a controlled substance.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home on Killarney Beach Road, near Lefroy on April 1. During the search, police found 75 kilograms of dried marijuana and 37 marijuana plants. Police say the seizure was worth over $700,000.

Police say four men were caught in the process of harvesting and processing the plants when the raid happened. All four were arrested and charged.

Investigators now say a 22-year-old Innisfil woman who lived at the residence was not directly connected and was neither charged nor arrested.
