A 20-year-old Orillia woman was killed in a crash early Friday morning in Oro-Medonte.e.
Police say emergency crews were called to Warminster Side Road, west of Line 11, just after 3:00 a.m. after a truck left the road and struck a tree.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
A 20-year-old Coldwater man is facing a number of charges, including impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
He was scheduled to appear at bail hearing on Friday.
Warminster Road between Line 10 and Line 11 was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened.
