A young woman from Orillia is facing several charges after police say she and two men locked a 14-year-old girl in a Toronto hotel room and forced her into prostitution.
Toronto police say 18-year-old Natasha Robitaille and two men from Toronto, Sage Finestone and Nicholas Faria, held the girl against her will in a room for a week.
Police say the three forced the teenager to have sex with clients.
The trio got caught when hotel security responded to a noise complaint and called the police.
The teen has been returned home to her family but investigators think there may be more victims.
The trio faces the following charges:
- Forcible Confinement
- Trafficking in Persons by Recruiting
- Trafficking of a person under the age of 18 years exercise control
- Material Benefit resulting from Trafficking in Persons
- Financial/Material Benefit Trafficking person under 18
- Material Benefit from Sexual Services
- Material Benefit from Sexual Services provided by a Person Under 18
- Procuring/Exercising Control
- Procuring/Recruit Person under 18 years
- Advertising another person’s sexual services
The three will be in a bail court on Thursday morning in Toronto.
