ERIN, Ont. - Provincial police are urging any members of the public who have information concerning homicide victim Frederick John Hatch to contact investigators.

Hatch's body was discovered on the evening of Dec. 17 in Erin, Ont., northeast of Guelph.

Hatch is described as white, 65 years of age, approximately five-foot-six, with a heavier build, grey downward curving moustache and grey shoulder length hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and blue jeans.

Police believe Hatch had travelled from eastern Ontario on Dec. 16.

He was known to hitchhike and it is believed that he travelled along Highway 7.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
