One person critically injured after being shot during armed robbery at gas station: OPP
Provincial police are investigating reports of an armed robbery in Amaranth Township that sent one person to the hospital in critical condition.
Dufferin OPP officers were called to County Road 109 on Monday around 11:40 p.m. after a suspect entered a gas station allegedly armed with a firearm.

According to police, one person was shot and had to be airlifted to a trauma centre with a life-threatening injury. The victim's identity has not been released. It remains unclear if the injured individual was a customer or the store clerk.
Police say the suspect, who wore a blue surgical mask, a three-quarter-length dark coat with a fur-lined hood, black pants, black shoes and black gloves, ran from the scene.
"If you see this individual, do not engage or approach," provincial police stated in a release. "Call 911 immediately."
Several officers were seen searching the area of County Road 109 between 7th Line and 17th.
No arrests have been made.
Police urge anyone with information to contact the authorities.
