Occasional lottery player wins big with limited-time OLG game
An Innisfil man who plays the lottery occasionally was surprised when he won $50,000 with a limited-time OLG game.
When Trevor Roseborough found out the Triple Millions lottery game was available for $20 for a short time, he bought a ticket and is now celebrating his first big lottery win.
Roseborough, who specializes in small engine repair, said he initially thought he had won $500.
"I scanned my ticket one more time and saw all the zeros. All I could do was stare at my phone, wondering if I had actually won big," he said.
The Triple Millions limited-time OLG game ran from June 20 to August 29.
Roseborough won the prize in the main draw.
"I was surprised by this win, but it's been a great experience," he said, adding he shared the news with his mom, who was shocked. "She was so happy for me. I'm happy, too."
Roseborough purchased the winning ticket at Simply Gas/Waypoint Convenience on Innisfil Beach Road in Innisfil.
"I plan on saving and investing in my future," he said. "I may treat myself to something cool or maybe even take a fun trip."
