A Newmarket man is celebrating becoming an instant millionaire after winning with the lottery.

Sam Cicciarella won the top prize worth $2 million in the Oct. 5 Ontario 49 draw.

He purchased his winning ticket at Andrew’s Convenience on Bayview Avenue in Aurora.

Ontario 49 costs $1 per play with draws twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The next draw is Wed., Nov. 6.
