Fluoride will be removed from the drinking water in Tottenham.
New Tecumseth town council made the decision Monday evening, with councillors voting 7-3 in favour of removing the chemical.
Fluoride has been in the town’s drinking water for 40 years.
The Ministry of Environment has to approve the decision, and then the fluoride will be gone.
