A multi-vehicle collision on Highway 400 in Bradford caused some traffic backups ahead of the weekend.

Provincial police closed the northbound lanes at Highway 88 following a three-vehicle crash around 10 Friday morning.

Northbound traffic was rerouted at Highway 88 until one lane was reopened shortly after 11 a.m.

Police say one person suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Just after the noon hour, police had all northbound lanes of the highway reopened.

The cause of the collision is under investigation. It's unclear if any charges will be laid.
