Motorcyclist, 34, dies after collision in Barrie's south end
A 34-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision in Barrie’s south end on Tuesday.

Police say the motorcycle was travelling east on Mapleview Drive West when it collided with a car making a left turn out of a business on the southside of the street, near Veteran’s Drive.
Emergency crews attended the scene around 3:30 p.m. and rushed the motorcyclist to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The area remained closed until roughly 8:30 p.m.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash to contact the detective on the case with information or dash camera footage.
