It’s Simcoe Pride Week and several events are happening across Simcoe County.

Simcoe Pride holds the events to celebrate and support LGBT community members and promote diversity, awareness and safety.

Pride week continues with flag raisings in Orillia, Midland, Wasaga Beach, Innisfil, Alliston, Oro-Medonte, Ramara and Bradford today,  August 6. Flag raising were held in Barrie and Penetanguishene Friday to kick off the week.
