Police are looking for witnesses, following a serious crash in the Town of Georgina on Sunday.

A passenger in a Honda Civic, an 80-year-old man from King Township, was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries after two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Varney Road and Metro Road North just before 6 p.m.

Police have confirmed that three other people were also injured, including the driver of the Civic, a 74-year-old man, who suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car and two other passengers were also sent to hospital, but have since been released.

Police continue to investigate and ask that any witnesses of the collision come forward.
