One man is dead and another is in hospital with serious injuries after a crane collapsed in Markham Thursday morning.
Police say the men were on the crane, which is an elevator lift on wheels, when it fell over in Markham, Ont., around 6:45 a.m.
York Regional Police spokeswoman Laura Nicolle says one man died on impact upon hitting the ground.
She says the Ministry of Labour has been notified and is investigating.
