Police in Barrie say an alleged gas thief is striking like "clockwork."
Investigators say a man driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee drove into a gas station at 4:20 p.m. last Tuesday, pumped gas and allegedly left without attempting to pay.
They say a man driving the same vehicle arrived at the same gas this Tuesday at 4:20 p.m., filled the tank and again allegedly left without paying.
Police released a photograph Thursday and are appealing for the public's help in identifying the man.
They say it's believed the vehicle may be a rental from the Greater Toronto Area, but the investigation is ongoing.
