Mental health clinic opening for youth in Clearview
If you're young and live in Clearview Township, mental health help is only a few steps away.
The Clearview Youth Centre and Catholic Family Services (CFS) Counselling + Wellbeing are announcing the launch of a no-cost, no-appointment YouthCALL Walk-in counselling clinic for youth aged 12-25 years.
The counselling services will provide support from professional counsellors for a wide range of mental health concerns.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with YouthCALL to bring this vital and much-needed in-person service to the youth of Clearview Township,” said Courtney Rogers, the Youth Centre coordinator.

Professional counselling by registered social workers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis bi-weekly on Mondays, beginning October 7, at the Clearview Youth Centre located on Highway 26 in Stayner from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Walk-in counselling clinics are for youth experiencing challenges. Whether it’s a mental health challenge, such as depression or anxiety, or issues with parents, peers, or people at school, talking to a CFS counsellor can help youth during challenging situations.
“This collaboration between YouthCALL and the youth centre addresses the growing need for accessible mental health services in rural communities,” said Amanda Fellows, CFS Community programs manager.
“By providing a welcoming environment for youth to seek immediate assistance, we aim to foster resilience and promote mental well-being during this pivotal life stage.”
YouthCALL is available at no cost. However, the number of sessions per clinic day is limited, so those interested in attending are encouraged to arrive early.
