A man suffered serious injuries, including two broken femurs, after a head-on crash Saturday night between a motorcycle and SUV north of Orangeville.
The crash happened on Highway 10 and Hockley Road around 9 p.m.
The motorcycle driver was taken by Dufferin EMS to the Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville and then airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. OPP upgraded his condition to stable Sunday morning saying he suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive.
A second person on the motorcycle was taken to Headwaters as well with serious non-life threatening injuries. Nobody was injured in the SUV.
The road was closed for several hours for the investigation but reopened early Sunday morning
