Man busted on cocaine and fentanyl charges in Collingwood

Police charge man with 10 criminal offences.

On Tuesday, provincial police spotted a man on Spruce Street in Collingwood they believe was involved in an earlier incident on Friday.

The man was arrested and found to have more than 55 grams of cocaine and 17 grams of fentanyl with him.

A 38-year-old man of no-fixed-address was charged with possession and trafficking charges, as well as four counts of using a stolen credit card, and four counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

The accused was transported to the Collingwood detachment to be held for a virtual bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice.
