Police are searching for two men after an early morning robbery at a convenience store in south Barrie on Saturday.

Police say it happened at the Macs store at Lougheed and Mapleview around 1:00 a.m. after the two men allegedly beat up another man, stole his wallet and fled the scene.

Officers set-up a perimeter in the area and used a K9 unit to try and track the suspects but were not able to find them.

The victim was taken to RVH with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as:

  • White
  • 18-19 years of age
  • Wearing black pants or jeans
  • They were last seen running towards Mapleview Drive
