Man arrested after vehicle stolen in Midland
A Christian Island man is facing multiple charges in connection to the theft of a vehicle in Midland.
According to OPP, officers were called to Dominion St. around 10:30 p.m. Thursday after a vehicle was reported stolen. An officer spotted the vehicle shortly afterwards at the Olive and Elizabeth St. intersection.

Police say backup was called to assist with conducting an impaired driving investigation.
A 31-year-old man from Christian Island is facing numerous charges relating to theft, obstruction and impairment.
The individual is due to appear in provincial court; however, a date was not provided.
