Man previously charged with taking upskirt photos in Windsor, charged in Sarnia

A Sarnia man has been charged with voyeurism after taking photographs of women at Lambton Mall.

Following the arrest of 46-year-old Russell Luyt in Windsor, where the man was seen taking photos up women’s dresses, Sarnia police say they launched a parallel investigation.

According to Sarnia Police Service, the man was taking photographs, "surreptitiously of females in a manner which constitutes a criminal offence." Police say he was present at Lambton Mall taking photographs on Dec. 28, 2024.

Police in Sarnia have charged him with two counts of voyeurism, and are hoping to identify the victims. Anyone that witnessed the man, or are aware of similar offences are asked to contact Detective Constable Erik Ostenfeldt at Sarnia police.
