Kraig Krause
Kraig Krause joined CTV News Barrie as a videojournalist in April 2021. Previously, Krause was a videojournalist and anchor for Global News covering eastern Ontario, where he reported on various topics, including all levels of government, human interest stories, and breaking news.
Since 2018, Krause has broken and reported on national stories, including a series on a Kingston, Ont., church accused of conversion therapy where he spoke with former members.
He reported live on the Wet’suwet’en protests in Ontario, dove into an investigative series on alleged sexual assaults on children living in foster care in eastern Ontario, along with several other stories.
Krause is fluent in English and studied Communications at York University and Broadcast Journalism at Seneca College.
A native of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Krause enjoys spending his off days outdoors and staying active.
