Kim Phillips
ContactKim Phillips joined CTVNewsBarrie.ca as a digital producer in 2018 and specializes in local news.
Before becoming the digital lead in Barrie, Kim spent over a decade in the Barrie news control room as a director and technical director. She has worked on various programming, including newscasts, election coverage, On the Road shows, and a wide range of broadcast specials.
Kim spent five years as a Director at the Business News Network in Toronto. She directed business shows and other specialty programming, including 'APP Central,' 'Money Talk,' and 'Dr. Marla and Friends.'
As Digital Producer for CTVNewsBarrie.ca, Kim covers local news across Simcoe County, Muskoka and surrounding areas.
Kim grew up in southern Ontario and graduated from Broadcast Television at Mohawk College in Hamilton.
She speaks English.
