Innisfil woman wins life-changing lottery prize

A retired Innisfil woman was in shock for a week after becoming a millionaire with the lottery.
Genevieve Denomme purchased the winning ticket on OLG.ca and couldn't believe her luck when she received an email notifying her she had won $1 million in the Aug. 20 Lotto Max draw.
"I woke my daughter up and asked her to review the email to make sure it was real," she said.
Even after Denomme's daughter confirmed the email's legitimacy, the reality of her win still hadn't quite set in.
"When I got up the next morning, I thought, 'Was that a dream, or did I really win?' I had to check my email again to reassure myself that I had truly won," she added while picking up her winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

Denomme plans to invest some of her newfound money and buy her daughter a car.
"Winning has been amazing and life-changing. It's like a dream come true," she finished.
The next Lotto Max draw is Friday, with an estimated $17 million jackpot.
